Sale Of EC Home Helps Tsunami Relief

Scenes of massive devastation along the northern coast of Japan in the aftermath of the earthquake and tsunami must have made people with residences along low coastal areas consider the possibility of a similar catastrophic event striking closer to them.  Whether that played a part in the decision by a Japanese businessman to sell a beach front home that formerly belonged to Eric Clapton isn't clear.  But what is certain is that a couple of million dollars from the sale will be donated to help the relief effort in areas hardest hit by the quake and surge in Japan.  An intriguing aspect of the sale is the report that the buyer will also obtain an unreleased recording Clapton left behind when he sold the property in 2003 after having owned it for around five years.
