Loverboy Plots Possible Return

Bob Rock, the man at the controls when Canadian Rockers Loverboy recorded one of the big debut albums of 1980, recently phoned Paul Dean and Mike Reno of the band to tell them he had a song he thought was right for them.  Dean said he and Reno '...just flipped out' when they got the chance to hear it.  The band has logged some studio time working-up two tracks with RockDean said the band had tried getting back together a few times in the past, but he says working with Rock again on songs he describes as comparable to the best material the band has ever done makes all the difference in the world.  Whether, when and in what form the songs will get released Dean and Reno did not say.
