A 47 year-old former personal assistant to U2 bass player Adam Clayton faced the music Monday (2/28).  Carol Hawkins was in a Dublin court room to face charges that she helped herself to millions of dollars from her employer's personal accounts.  The 184 count case against Hawkins claims she pilfered funds from Clayton's accounts over a three year period starting in 2005 (story).  Clayton earlier won a judgment preventing the woman from pocketing additional money from the sale of New York City apartment the woman may have purchased using his money. The hearing clears the way for the case to go to trial.
