Man In Motion is an appropriate album title for a guy that seldom stands still.  The new solo project from the Allman Brothers Band and Gov't Mule guitarist will get a May 10 release.  Haynes sounds justifiably stoked about the project, which includes contributions from Faces and James McMurtry keyboard player Ian McLagan, Ivan Neville, outstanding vocalist Ruthie Foster.  The Warren Haynes Band has a slot at the Wanee Festival in Florida in April, followed by some dates Down Under before the group returns stateside to make an appearance at Mountain Jam, where Haynes, an organizer of the annual festival at Hunter Mountain in the Hudson Valley, will make appearances with both his new band and Gov't Mule.
