Daltrey Revives Rock Opera

Whether the Who will mount another major tour is unknown, but a revival of the Rock Opera Tommy is being planned for Royal Albert Hall.  Roger Daltrey confirmed that he will include music from the 1969 double album in his concert set during the annual Teenage Cancer Trust benefit concert at the historic venue.  Whether Pete Townshend will join him was not addressed, but the Who front man says he plans to make a lot of music during the next few years before giving all of his attention to painting.  His approach to either art form has to be all-in, Daltrey says: 'I do a bit of daubing in my spare time, but I know that when I start that seriously it's going to have to be serious, there won't be room for anything else.'
