Musicians Unite For Tucson Victims

Alice Cooper and Jackson Browne occupy musical spaces that are pretty far apart.  But the shock and folk rocker have come together on a benefit concert for the shooting victims of the attack that critically wounded Congress woman Gabrielle Giffords in Tucson, Arizona January 8th.  Cooper, who lives in the Phoenix area, and Browne have called on David Crosby and Graham Nash, Nils Lofgren of the E Street Band, Sam Moore of Sam & Dave fame, Keb' Mo, Dar Williams, Jerry Riopelle and others for the March 10 event.  The concert is being staged at the Tucson Convention Center. Gifford's husband, astronaut Mark Kelly, and others will speak.
Money raised will go to a fund to help those dealing with trauma or facing hardship due to medical costs resulting from the shooting rampage that took six lives and left 13 wounded, and an organization formed to promote respect and understanding in the community.
