Dead Symphonic Concert Revived

A performance of Grateful Dead music The Marin County California symphony orchestra canceled last fall (story) is back on the schedule as a single concert this spring.  The May 11 event at the Marin Civic Center will feature Bob Weir playing with the symphony.  The former Grateful Dead guitarist, who collaborated with a Stanford University professor on the arrangements for the one time only performance, looks forward to the event, saying, 'Part of what makes this interesting is that it's not just going to be an orchestra playing Grateful Dead songs.  I'm going to be playing too - and some other guys, and there's going to be real interaction between the symphony and us.'  Weir decided to leave fans guessing about who besides him will join the orchestra that night.
