Nick Mason's passion for high performance cars has been documented in a number of Rock Insights stories.  The former Pink Floyd drummer now appears to be seeking to turn what is otherwise an expensive hobby into a profitable enterprise.  Bloomberg News reports that Mason is involved with an investment group that aims to acquire up to $150 million worth of classic high performance cars that it can sell with a goal of delivering a 15% premium to its backers.  Mason has a collection of world-class cars that includes name plates from Ferrari, Jaguar, Aston Martin, Bugatti and Porsche, and enjoys putting them through their paces on race tracks in the UK.
