An unspecified surgical procedure involving Mick Ralphs has forced Bad Company to go to the bench and enlist the services of Heart multi-instrumentalist Howard Leese. Pollstar reports that Leese, who has done previous stints with Bad Company and the Paul Rodgers Band, is covering  six dates in Japan of the Bad Company reunion tour. No details about what is ailing Ralphs has been released on his or the Bad Company web sites.
