After strenuously defending himself against attacks from the Anti Defamation League (ADL) over images being used during his Wall tour (story), Roger Waters apparently decided to have the scene in the video that displays while he and his band play Goodbye Blue Sky changed. The ADL and other groups claimed that images depicting bombs dropping along with stars of David and dollar signs amounted to anti-Semiticism. Waters fired back that he was anti-occupation, not anti-Semitic. ADL criticism was based largely on the use of dollar signs in the montage, claiming it reinforced a negative stereotype. The alteration that has been made may not do much to satisfy the ADL. Instead of dollar signs, the scene now depicts the Mercedes Benz logo.
