The Promise: The Mkaing of Darkness On The Edge Of Town has it's small screen debut Thursday (10/7) on HBO at 9pm.  The film, which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival last month (story) and will be included in the massive collection getting released Nov. 16 (story), is scheduled to run through the end of the month on HBO and until Oct. 18 on HBO2.  A rumored project also has Bruce appearing on at least one episode of a hit TV series.  What started out as a plan to feature Springsteen music in an episode of the FOX show Glee has might have morphed into Bruce making at least a brief appearance on screen as the uncle of one of the show's characters.
