Steven Tyler will have a virtual presence on television in addition to his weekly appearances as a judge on American Idol.  The lead singer for Aerosmith will supply the voice for the Mad Hatter in The Wonder Pets animated adaptation of Alice In Wonderland that premiers October 15 on Nickelodean.  Tyler tells TV Guide.com that the gig is '...something I've wanted to do forever', and calls it, '...another feather in the cap'. It could also be another thorn in the side of Joe Perry.  The guitarist views Tyler's commitment to Idol as a distraction that Aerosmith can ill-afford as the band tries to rebound from a year in which multiple illnesses and injuries nearly put an end to one of the longest running acts in Rock.
