Three former Thin Lizzy members have recruited Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell and Whitesnake,  Ted Nugent bass player Marco Mendoza to join them for a UK reunion tour of the influential Irish band once fronted by Phil Lynott.  Thin Lizzy alums Scott Gorham, Darren Wharton and Brian Downey will also be joined by Ricky Warwick, guitar and vocalist of the Almightys.  A tribute performance to Lynott with special guests is being organized for January 4, 2011, the 25th anniversary of his death.  Lynott, who struggled with substance abuse issues, died two years after Thin Lizzy disbanded after being hospitalized with multiple medical problems.  His death was ultimately attributed to pneumonia and heart failure.
