Glenn Hughes promises that the publication of The Life, Near Death and Rebirth of a Rock Star: Deep Purple & Beyond will qualify as '...a literary event' and that readers of his Rock bio will '...never read anything like it.' The pre-publication hype doesn't stop there. The Black Sabbath, Deep Purple veteran goes on to proclaim himself 'the Voice Of Rock' and claims he has spent more than a a million dollars on cocaine. A 3 song EP will be included in a limited edition run of the book. Hughes recently formed a band with Joe Bonamassa, Jason Bonham and a member of Dream Theater.
