Bonamassa Debuts New Group

After a lot of years spent alternating between blues and rock, former child guitar prodigy  Joe Bonamassa appears ready to commit himself to Rock - and to join a band.  Bonamassa used his St. Patrick's Day concert in Riverside, CA to give an audience an idea of what he has in store when he invited the other members to join him for an encore.  Black Country, which has already logged studio time with producer Kevin Shirley, consists of Deep Purple and Black Sabbath veteran Glenn Hughes, Derek Sherinian from Dream Theater on keys, and drummer Jason Bonham, who filled his father's role in Led Zeppelin and was also in Foreigner for a time.  The group cranked out an original and a version of Deep Purple's Mistreated.    NightwatchersHouseOfRock
