The Rock Hall Of Fame resides in a stunning structure on the shore of Lake Erie in Cleveland. But the building has limited storage space, a problem the Hall will address by housing its extensive archives in a new building at Cuyahoga Community College, about 2 miles southeast of the museum. The 22,500 square foot building, which is now complete, is receiving the museum's archived materials from offsite storage spaces the Hall has leased. The collection of photos, videos, contracts, press kits, posters, flyers, business records, manuscripts, lyrics, letters and other music documents will open to scholars, researchers, educators and fans once the entire collection has been inventoried and catalogued.
