Seeing who the Rock Hall Of Fame calls on to induct new members to the ranks is always interesting. Steve Van Zandt of the E Street Band does the honors for the Hollies on March 15 at the Waldorf Astoria. As a champion of Garage Bands, we think Little Steven should do the Stooges, a distinction that goes to Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day. Jimmy Cliff gets his intro from Wycliff Jean. David Geffen draws Jackson Browne instead of Joni Mitchell, who wrote Free Man In Paris about him. We don't get Trey Anastasio of Phish inducting Genesis. The one that makes perfect sense and no sense at all at the same time - ABBA gets inducted by Barry and Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees.
