The days when anyone not on the show name more than one cast member of Saturday Night Live are long gone.  So are the days of bothering to tune-in for the vast majority of people old enough to remember when the show had a killer cast and regularly presented great bands. Why bother? Odds you won't recognize the host or the musical guest. On the rare occasion a band you do want to catch plays, there's no need to watch live or even record it when the network is willing to post it online.
