News that the Rolling Stones do not plan to tour in 2010 disappointed more than fans.  A Stones tour would have provided Ron Wood some refuge from the relentless London tabloid coverage his wild lifestyle has attracted and a means of recouping a portion of the fortune his recent divorce set him back.  Faced without a tour and reportedly under pressure from within the band to get his act together, Wood is now said to be considering a solo tour.  The best possible scenario for the embattled guitarist would be having Rod Stewart finally agree the time was right for the long anticipated Faces reunion.  That appears about as likely as Ekaterina Ivanova deciding not to cash in on selling stories about the stormy relationship she and Wood had.
