Boss Does Unannounced NJ Appearance

The E Street Band being on break does not keep Springsteen from feeding his desire to play live - especially when a good cause is involved.  Saturday night (1/16) Bruce made what has become a fairly regular unannounced appearance at the annual benefit to raise funds in the fight against Parkinson's Disease.  Appearing at the Light Of Day concert at the Paramount Theatre in Asbury Park, Bruce spent more than an hour on stage with Joe Grushecky & the Houserockers in a set that included Atlantic City, Darkness On The Edge of Town, Johnnny 99 and Pink Cadillac.  Earlier he jumped on stage to do a song with Willie Nile, who was a special guest during the tour ending E Street Band concert last November in Buffalo.
