The Big Man Has Back Surgery

Down time for E Street Band members was pretty scarce until recently.  Springsteen and his band were globe trotters for the better part of two years doing the Working On A Dream tour.  With the band on indefinite hiatus, Clarence Clemons decided the time was right to tend to the back problem that was causing the E Street Band sax player trouble.  Clemons had surgery Wednesday (1/13) in a New York hospital.  His Twitter site said he looks forward to being able to dance again.  It was obvious that the Big Man was in some big pain, especially during the last leg of the tour when he needed a stool to help him get through marathon sets.
