The 3G Fender, a new model HTC Android phone being offered by T-Mobile, arrives Jan. 20 pre-loaded with several Eric Clapton songs.  The carrier has been a sponsor of EC's Crossroads festivals. The guitar themed handset sports the famous Fender Guitar sunburst finish and includes an assortment of embedded features, including one that can create ringtones from a song as it is playing.  It will sell to the tune of $179.99 with the usual strings attached: plus taxes and fees and a 2 year contract and qualifying voice and data plan are required.
