Mick Fleetwood Returns to Roots

Fleetwood Mac recorded some outstanding albums before the 1975 release of the self-titled album that set them on course to become one of the most popular groups of that or any other era.  Some early classics turn up on on set lists, but most got set aside as songs that would get lost in translation if the present day lineup of the band tried to do them live.  Fortunately, Mick Fleetwood missed playing them as much as early fans of the band missed hearing them.  The result was Blue Again, the Grammy nominated CD showcasing the Mick Fleetwood Blues Band doing early gems Oh Well, Albatross, Black Magic Woman, and a slew of staples from the years Fleetwood Mac was a blues band.  An 18 song DVD of the concert set, recorded in October 2008 in the UK, comes out Jan. 26.
