Tensions between Ray and Dave Davies have kept the Kinks from reuniting time and time again.  While things have eased some between the bickering brothers, enough resentments remain that they may never share the same stage again.  As 2009 wound down, Ray seemed increasingly upbeat about getting the band back together. (story)  Now, his bro is sounding receptive too.  Dave Davies closed a recent interview with Stay Thirsty Media by saying he is 'sure me and Ray will work on something as the Kinks once again.'  There were also enough complaints about his brother in the session to make a reunion still seem like a long shot, most of them having to do with his anger over Ray wanting to control everything and refusing to 'allow or give me the room to express myself and my ideas.'
