A young woman Ginger Baker at his New Zealand bank struck him as just the right person to hire as his personal secretary. The former Cream drummer regrets his notion to the tune of around $330,000, the amount he claims Lindiwe Noko cleaned out of his account at the bank.  Her trial on charges related to the claim ran into so many delays that Baker filed a civil suit seeking his money.  The bank will return around $31,000 plus interest to Baker for failing to prevent Noko from altering account settings that would have notified Baker of the withdrawals as they occurred. The woman, who claims she and Baker were involved romantically,  owes Baker more money as a result of the suit, and was fired by the bank after her arrest Dec. 7 in on charges related to claims by two other bank customers.
