Faces weigh tour without Stewart

Keyboard player Ian McLagan has been the most outspoken member of the Faces when it comes to voicing frustration over mixed signals the group says it has gotten from Rod Stewart about a reunion.  On, then off tour plans finally came down to just a few reunion dates in and around London while Stewart was in the US promoting his new album.  Those went well enough that the band is leaning toward touring without Stewart, who recently claimed to still be open to a reunion - if only a one-off (story).  The band used Paul Carrack, Andy Fairweather Low and Mick Hucknall from Simply Red for the UK dates. One or more of them could be used in extended play mode - or they could tap another to fill for Stewart.  Come to think of it, Steven Tyler could be available.
