In a lawsuit pitting brother against brother, Robbie Bachman has filed a claim against Randy Bachman and other current members of the band playing under the Bachaman Turner Overdrive name.  The action seeks payment of damages and a restriction on the use of the full name, BTO or derivative names for any live or recorded performances without the written approval of the plaintiffs, Robbie Bachman and Blair Thorton, another former member.  The pair claim that Randy Bachman and Fred Turner have registered the names Bachman-Turner, BTunited, BTU and Bachman Turner Union in the US and Canada.
