On May 29, 2006, David Gilmour pulled off one of the biggest surprise gueat appearances ever during his concert at Royal Albert Hall when David Bowie strolled on stage to join him of Arnold Layne.  Bowie also took the lead vocals on Comfortbly Numb that night.  It would be the final time Bowie would perform in public in London.
