Today is the second video from David Gilmour's 2015 soo release Rattle That Lock. It features footage captured in rehearsals for David's tour as well as scenes shot during the pre-tour performance he ran through with his band In Brighton.  The song was developed out of portions of earlier songs Gilmour had been working on but set aside.  Co-producer Phil Manzanera (Roxy Music) put them together. Gilmour credits him for going through his unfinished material and finding musical passages that would work together well as a new song, calling Manzanera's talent for it 'a gift'.
