This could be a lock for the oddest Rock collectible of the year. On Friday (9/25), an amulet fashioned by Mountain's Felix Pappalardi using strands of Jimi Hendrix hair will get auctioned off. The odd charm once used in a seance conduted by Guitar World magazine is just one of the Hendrix artifacts being sold in the Profiles In History Million Dollar Auction. Other items include a wristwatch band and a stash bag. The 19" long amulet could bring a top bid of $60,000 or more. No word on whether DNA for cloning could be extracted from it.
