KISS has established a new record for albums by a US band being declared gold by the Recording Industry Association of America.  Including solo releases that reached the million mark in sales, the group now has 30 to its credit, 14 of which went on to achieve platinum status by exceeding 3 million in sales and a trio of those, Love Gun, Destroyer and Rock And Roll All Over going multi-platinum.
