Joe Lynn Turner was apparently banking on being the front man when Ritchie Blackmore tours in the spring of 2016, but Blackmore seems to have another lead singer in mind. The Deep Purple and Rainbow veteran is gushing about an unidentified singer he's discovered, telling Billboard his vocals make him '...a cross between Dio and Freddie Mercury' and says he's confident his new find is bound to become famous fast.
