The Rolling Stones have staged a number of high profile tour announcement events, including a flatbed truck performance while rolling through Manhattan. Whether a similar spectacle is staged to announce the group's upcoming summer stadium tour in the States remains to be seen, but some sources say that the group's 1971 classic album Sticky Fingers, due for an expanded edition reissue this year, will be performed in its entirety at each stop on this tour. The tour launch is said to be in San Diego on May 24th. Milwaukee looks likely for June 22, the home of the Indy 500 is rumored to be slotted for July 4th. Other cities in the discussion include Pittsburgh and Buffalo.
