Randy Bachman has enlisted Neil Young and guitar great Joe Bonamassa for his new album.  Heavy Blues, due out on April 15 of next year, will also include material featuring the late Canadian guitarist Jeff Healy and pedal steel player Robert Randolph.  Production of the album is being handled by Rush, Journey, Iron Maiden veteran producer Kevin Shirley.  The Bachman-Turner Overdrive veteran says the new album was inspired by his '...love of classic 60's Blues-Rock' and credits Young for challenging him to '...get out of the box, do something fearless, be fierce, be ferocious, reinvent yourself.'
