The 1949 Studebaker truck the Grateful Dead carried gear to in the group's early years will be sold by Michaan's Auctions in Alameda, California on November 6th. The R Series 1 ton truck has seen little done to it prior to hitting the block.  Thee description touts the oriiginal interior and motor are still housed inn the body painted by Owsley.
