Bono says the decision to let Apple automatically deliver U2's latest album to iTunes accounts to coincide with the announcement of the release of the iPhone 6 was probably a mistake. During a Q&A session on Facebook with fans Tuesday (10/14), the Irish band's front man apologized in reply to a post that called the delivery deal the group made with Apple '...really rude' of the band. In response Bono wrote, "Oops... I'm sorry about that. I had this beautiful idea... might have gotten carried away with ourselves. Artists are prone to that thing. A drop of meglomania, a touch of generosity, a dash of self-promotion, and deep fear that theses songs that we poured our life into over the last few years might not be heard. There's a lot of noise out there. I guess. we got a little noisy ourselves to get through it.'
