Roger Waters wants to disavow any involvement with The Endless River, but Professor Stephen Hawking was impressed enough that the Pink Floyd album includes a track called Talkin' Hawkin to grant permission to use his synthesized voice on the song.  Louder Than Words, one of the only other tracks on the release with lyrics, feature David Gilmours' vocals. The late Rick Wright is given writing or co-writing credits on a dozen of the 18 tracks included on the release.  The majority of material compiled on the album was collected from session work that wen into The Division Bell.
