Jimi Jamison was not the lead singer on Survivor's biggest hit, Eye Of The Tiger, but he had the range and chops to mask that fact and was the front man for several other songs that gained mainstream radio traction, including The Moment of Truth fromt he Karate Kid soundtrack, Burning Heart from Rocky IV, Is This Love and The Search Is Over.  The 63 year-old singer died of a heart attack on Sunday (8/31), according to a report by TMZ attributed to Jamison's agent.  He had just returned to his Memphis home after a Survivor concerrt in California.
