NBC is reportedly planning to develop a series based on the Beatles.  The Peacock network is said to be engaging Michael Hirst, the creator and producer of The Tudors, to put together an undertermined number of installments that chronicle the years leading up to the Beatles arrival on the world stage.  No word yet on whether they have specific actors in mind to portray John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.
