9/9/1982 Rush releases Signals

 

Rush was out with its ninth studio album on this day in 1982. Signals sold strongly based on the strength of Moving Pictures, the Canadian trio's previous studio lp.  New World Man and Subdivisions were the biggest songs on it from an airplay and popularity standpoint.
