Joe Perry's on stage collapse on July 10th while the Hollywood Vampires was doing its cover of David Bowie's Rebel Rebel triggered initial speculation that the Aerosmith guitarist may have suffered a heart attack. After an oddly long delay, word finally emerged that the cause was dehydration and exhaustion. Perry was admitted first to a Coney Island hospital and later transferred to Columbia Presbyterian before being released. As of this writing, the only information related to the incident on Perry's official web site is a July 11 post reading, "Thanks to all of the fans reaching out and asking about Joe. He is stable right now, with family and is under the best of care."
